As you can see in the cover photo there is a total lack of Red Nose… Or in fact… Any kind red ๐ but the support is there. My eldest has PE today and is at that age she thinks it’s embarrassing to dress up, my son said he doesn’t like red and my youngest I’ve dressed in a ‘flappers style’ dress and faux fur coat so basically a fashion parade of random.
Red Nose Day is a campaign to end child poverty, one nose at a time. Through the power of entertainment, Red Nose Day raises money and awareness to ensure children who need our help the most are safe, healthy and educated in America and around the world! And it’s bac tomorrow! (Friday 19th March) and this year it’s never felt more important to have some fun and raise money to support people
There are loads of ways to get involved in Red Nose Day! From buying a Red Nose or exclusive Pixar t-shirt, to holding your own fundraiser, to turning on the TV to watch a night of one-off comedy specials, live music and ‘money canโt buy prizes.’
The non-profit Comic Relief, which uses comedy to raise money for disadvantaged people, launched Red Nose Day in the United Kingdom in 1988. Since then, the day has raised more than $1 billion globally
“Letโs help provide safety to families who need support. Tackle mental health stigma. Take action against domestic abuse. And help to give children a brighter future.
We raise money that goes into the Red Nose Day Fund. The Fund awards grants to our Grantee Partners. All of the grant money supports programs that help children living in poverty. Red Nose Day monitors the grants to make sure that programs are effective.” @comicrelief
Oh and I’m currently in Instagram jail for liking and commenting on people’s posts too much so I’ll be replying with my second account @yourblendedfamily which is an active account.
This year I wanted to post more memories so I can look back on and I also wanted to connect with more people whether like minded or different, the coronavirus has affected everyone from mental health to work to social lives etc and I just wanted to be able to ‘meet’ more people in the world I guess and be able to share my own journey! ๐
