I think all toys can be played with regardless of the gender and the two vlogs showing the LOL doll and Num Noms are items I’ve bought for my daughter. They are bright in colours and great for the imagination.
The reason I’ve added these to the list is because they are easy to carry, they are readily available in Supermarkets not just online and with a good deal they aren’t too expensive but can be quite costly if you’re purchasing a lot or the larger items that we’ve had, such as, the Lipgloss Truck but I feel they are more for holiday gift items.

ITEM FIVE
HATCHING EGGS (Dinosaurs, mermaids, flamingos etc)
You can buy these items anywhere like local toy shops, supermarkets, Amazon, eBay and they all vary in price from £1 to £10 at most but aren’t super expensive.
- It’s egg-cellent for kids dino project. Hatching dinosaur egg pets toy. Have fun watching a growing baby dinosaur break out of its own egg!
- Easy to follow instructions: 1. Put the egg in a container and fill with water till water level is above egg.
- The egg shell will slowly break after 24-48 hours, then the dinosaur will quickly come out of its shell.
- After the egg shell is broken entirely, add new water into the container again. The dinosaur will keep expanding until about 48-72 hours.
- You can then move the growing dinosaur to a larger container to watch them grow!
- Suitable age 3+

BUBBLES
Who doesn’t love bubbles! They are easy to travel about with, put the kids outside and let them run around free and wild.
You can buy small packets, large bottle, bulk buy bubble liquid, machines big and small, big sticks and again they can be bought from various places such as Supermarkets, corner shops, online and depending on deals on, sizes and the item they all vary in cost.

ITEM SEVEN
MAGIC PAINT BOOKS/ WATER DOODLE
I loovveee magic paint books where all you need to do is add water and colours ‘magically’ appear. All my children love these books and on days you don’t want to be carrying a load of paint items or don’t want the mess these books are fantastic!
I buy mine from a local shop for £1 to £2 per book which is a great price too.
What do you need? Paint brush. Water in a cup. Easy! (Some books even come with the brush attached and reusable books!)
ALTERNATIVELY – REUSABLE WATER DOODLE MATTS ARE GREAT!
This one on Amazon I’ve linked as an example but you can get them from places like Argos or Tomy – you can get them in bags, buy the pens separate, in all different shapes and sizes for your needs and requirements!

A fantastic paint set which my children have loved creating new designs and they wash off so well! You could get the kids messy painting their whole bodies with designs and shove them in the shower!
We’ve also previously reviewed their normal paint sets from this company and my kids enjoy them as it’s easy painting – no need for brushes.
You’ll see in this ‘Gift Ideas for kids‘ blog post I did at Christmas time for gift ideas they are featured as not only are they fabulous for taking out and about but they are great for gifts too!

They do various designs such as pillow cases, bags, bedding, back packs, stationary and wash out pens, colour and learn table cloths and place matts which if you’re having a meal out or a picnic it can be a great distraction to take with you to entertain the children for five minutes.
