What is Natures Bounty
Natures Bounty are vitamins designed to provide the body with nutrients it needs!
“Fast-paced living often has its own challenges – stress and fatigue, less sleep and energy, always eating on the go. At Nature’s Bounty®, we understand that the daily stresses of modern living can affect your health and well being, and we are here to help. The Nature’s Bounty® range of supplements is designed to tackle every lifestyle need – from maintaining healthy hair, skin, and nails, to supporting heart, brain and vision functions, as well as supporting energy levels and immunity.”
Vitamins perform key functions:
- Vitamin C builds immunity and connective tissue.
- Vitamin A enhances immunity and helps growth.
- B-vitamins are essential for energy.
- Vitamin D strengthens bones.
A diet rich in a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, fortified dairy, whole grains, dried beans and lentils, and lean meat and fish helps you get all the vitamins you need. Whole foods, rather than a supplement, provide an optimal synergy of compounds that your body absorbs and uses however sometimes you just can’t achieve that.
For certain people, particularly the elderly, supplementing the diet with additional vitamins and minerals can have health impacts, however, the majority may not benefit. People with dietary imbalances may include those on restrictive diets and those who cannot or will not eat a nutritious diet.
Pregnant women and elderly adults have different nutritional needs than other adults, and a multivitamin may be indicated by a physician. Generally, medical advice is to avoid multivitamins, particularly those containing vitamin A, during pregnancy unless they are recommended by a health care professional. However, the NHS recommends 10μg of Vitamin D per day throughout the pregnancy and whilst breast feeding, as well as 400μg of folic acid during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
Some individuals may need to take iron, vitamin C, or calcium supplements during pregnancy, but only on the advice of a midwife.
What I’ve tried

They have a great selection in their range Bone and Joint health, Botanicals, Daily well being, Beauty, Energy, Relaxation, Women’s Health, Speciality Formula and Digestion.
They are free from extra additives:
- Artificial Flavour
- Milk
- Lactose
- Soy
- Gluten
- Wheat
- Yeast
- Fish
- Sodium
Eating nutrient rich foods
It’s easy to get lazy and survive off of sandwiches and apples but depriving your body of key nutrients will be apparent in both your energy levels and your skin.
Very few people eat a perfectly balanced and nutritionally distributed diet but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try and If I’m honest, I don’t take the best care of myself. I’m pretty rough on my hair with all of the washing – with stress and Post Natal Hair Loss it isn’t it’s best.
The majority of your meal should be made up of vegetables and greens followed by fats and carbs. Proportioning your meals this way will make sure you’re getting full of of nutrients without depriving yourself of yummy carbs and fats.
You can’t go wrong eating a veggie abundant diet as long as you’re eating enough – the vitamins I’ve been trying have lots of key vitamins but of course they don’t replace food.
Beauty Complex with Biotin
Vitamin B7, also called biotin, is a vital part of a healthy metabolism and creating important enzymes. Biotin is often used to strengthen hair and nails, and is also called Vitamin H (for hair).
- Supports skin health
- Helps maintain healthy hair
- Assists in energy metabolism
- Supports protein, carbohydrate and fat metabolism
Low levels of biotin can lead to brittle nails and thinning hair. There is some evidence that biotin supplements can help prevent hair thinning, especially if you are deficient and according to information I’ve found taking a biotin supplement is not likely to be harmful and may improve hair quality.

Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies – Beauty
- Vitamin E contributes to skin health.
- Vitamin C supports the production and formation of collagen, the basis for vibrant skin.
- Vitamin A supports overall health and skin maintenance.
Their amazing Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies come in mixed berry flavour! They’re way easier to take than a pill vitamin because they’re so delicious! With just two a day I know I’m supporting the health of my hair and skin as well as getting antioxidants and other beneficial nutrients that are not only helping me glow from the inside out, but they’re also supporting my overall health. It’s great to know that on days when I haven’t necessarily eaten as well as I should have, or if I’ve been a little rough on my skin that I’m getting some extra support through my vitamins.
The Prices
Obviously prices vary depending on where you purchase a product and which product, what else you buy.
For example, The Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies on Amazon cost £18.95 but cheaper if you’re on Prime and from Boots £19.99 but decent price from a site called Landyschemist at £13.97.
My thoughts
First impression – the design of the packaging is great, very information as well as pretty. The gummies taste fantastic.
I do take some other supplements along with my Nature’s Bounty® Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies but this is an addition that’s easy to add to my morning routine. I usually take them in the morning, feels like a little treat plus even better I have seen a positive change to my nails. My hair since having a baby has thinned to the point I can see my scalp so the fact I’m able and my nails, which break so easily, seem healthier.
The texture is good as they are really smooth and are easy to chew unlike some gummy products I’ve tried which are tougher. You take 2 gummies once or twice daily with a meal – there are 60 in a bottle so there’s plenty!
It’s great there’s no glucose, no gluten, no preservatives, no soy and no artificial flavours!
After a month of use
I noticed my nails have become super shiny! I really do love these vitamins and the easy way I can take them. Definitely recommend.

If you’re unsure if you’re getting an adequate amount of vitamins, consult with your doctor. Overdosing on vitamins through supplements can be dangerous.
Enhancements certainly have a spot in certain eating regimens and I’m thinking about taking some for potential menopause manifestations sooner or later sooner rather than later. I take supplements every day and I have as of late began fiddling with dark seed oil and other characteristic enhancements. I’ve been searching for some better than average nutrients and really had a discussion about what I ought to be taking with a companion a week ago

I like the sound of these. I hate taking tables, but gummies I’d have no problem with. Glad to hear they have helped your nails. My nails aren’t the best at the moment, I think it’s all the hand washing from changing nappies and I’ve suffered a lot of postpartum hair loss. #SnappedUp

I take their Vitamin D because it’s almost always on sale at Walgreens! A lot of times you can catch a buy one/get one sale so that’s super nice.

I’ve been looking for some decent vitamins and actually had a conversation about what I should be taking with a friend last week – so the timing of reading this is great! Thanks for the heads up – it’s good to have alternative options. Popping over from #SnappedUp
